Vaike Shawl

Vaike by Isabel Kraemer
The name Vaike comes Estonian vain and means calm. Once you fall into the rhythm of knitting the small cables and stockinette stitch, this project is very meditative.
Our shop sample was knit using just 2 balls of Kathmandu, a lovely fingering weight tweed yarn, but any solid, tonal or lightly speckled fingering weight yarn would work for this project.
In this class you will learn to knit cables without a cable needle, and how to make modifications to a patten.
