Sideline Wrap is the perfect little kniiting project to take on the go. The stitch pattern is easily memorized so it can be worked up while enjoying an evening with friends or while watching a sporting event. 

In this class you will learn the beauty of mosaic knitting. Mosaic knitting is a color work technique that only uses one color per row and a series of slipped stitches to achieve the pattern. If you can knit and purl, this project is for you. 

Materials:

Yarn:

Color A: Approximately 248 yards of a solid color fingering weight yarn. Shop sample used Lana Grossa Cashmere 16 Fine.
Color B: Approximately 200 yards of a gradient sport weight or fingering weight yarn. Shop sample used Yarn Hero Merge Sport or Sock.

Needles and Notions:

US Size 3/3.25 mm needles
Stitch markers
Measuring tape
Tapestry needle
5/8" button

Gauge:

32 stitches and 49 rows = 4"/10 cm in the Basket Stitch Pattern worked flat.
