Is there anything more holiday-y than monogrammed knit things? Throw in a toasty drink and the Hallmark moment practically writes itself! The Monogrammed Cup Cozy is perfect for those who are looking for a quick, personalized holiday gift. Knit in a chunky weight yarn, the project works up very quickly, and because the monogram is worked with the duplicate stitch technique, it is entirely optional and customizable. 

This 3-hour class will focus on the magic loop and duplicate stitch techniques. Both of these are wonderful tools to add to your knitting arsenal; its versatile uses will also be discussed during the class. 

Though the class is beginner friendly, it is recommended that participants have prior knowledge of the basic knit and purl stitches. 

Copies of the pattern with charts will be made available in class.

Materials Needed: 

• US 8 knitting needles with cord long enough to work a magic loop (36"+ is recommended)
• Recommended yarn: Ikigaifiber's Chibi Paka Chunky Yarn. 1 MC with scrap yarn OR 2nd CC.
• Two 50g hanks can yield 3 cup cozies
• Tapestry needle
